Passion

Wikipedia : Passion (from the Ancient Greek verb πάσχω (paskho) meaning to suffer) is a term applied to a very strong feeling about a person or thing. Passion is an intense emotion compelling feeling, enthusiasm, or desire for something.

The term is also often applied to a lively or eager interest in or admiration for a proposal, cause, or activity orlove - to a feeling of unusual excitement, enthusiasm or compelling emotion, a positive affinity or love, towards a subject, idea, person, or object.

Of course as u can see,my topic of interest today is of passion. Nope...not about romance but about people and their passion for something or a goal that they are willing to sacrifice a lot of things in life to achieve. Because I wish to become someone that has a passion for a goal; I would like to blog about these inspiring people.

George Lucas - George Lucas spent four years sending script for Star Wars around to various studios and got numerous rejections in the process. If he'd let his negative inner voice get to him he would never have ended up having the highest grossing film of all time.

He is a man with passion for greater achievements and one of it was the Star Wars production. I'm not much of a Star Wars fan but his determination to achive what he did today earned him all the credits. Salute!

Michael Jordan - was cut from his high school basketball team. Michael Jordan quote, "I've failed over and over again in my life, and that is why I succeed."

He went on to become one of the most famous basketball players in history and became an icon when any aspiring players or fan gushed about basketball. A great success from a boy that knows how to counter simple defeat by climbing up again. Respect!

NICK VUJICIC: U PROBABLY HAVE NEVER HEARD OF THIS GUY. BUT HE IS ONE TOUGH COOKIE.

U can probably see from his picture that he has no limbs. He was born in 1982 in brisbane Australia with no limbs. It's a rare Tetra-amelia disorder: limbless, missing both arms at shoulder level, and having one small foot with two toes protruding from his left thigh. Despite the absence of limbs, he surfs and swims, and plays golf and soccer. Nick graduated from college at the age of 21 with a double major in Accounting and Financial Planning. He began his travels as a motivational speaker, focusing on the topics that today's teenagers face.

Whatever challenges ur facing, remember that there is always someone out there that had it tougher than u. Always remind urself of that.

Walt Disney - was turned down by over a hundred banks when he tried to get funding to develop Disneyland. He was also fired from his job at a newspaper for "lacking ideas". He also had several bankruptcies before he was able to develop Disneyland.

He became the well known icon for cartoon characters that made dreams possible for children. Our childhood owes it to him. Thanks Walt!

a
Enid Blyton - is a British author who was rejected by publishers 1,000 times. She is my favorite author when I was a kid and I loved her stories. Who could forget those compilation of short stories that she wrote and adventures for little kids. She is probably the childhood for a lot of u who loved reading her books when u were younger. Being a bestselling author didn't just happen. For a lot of things in our journey; we need to fight for what we really desire. Never give up hope.

If u have any inspirational characters that are passionate for the goals and things they love, I'd like to hear it.

If u like this post,do click some ads haha.

Sim Date Games

The title sim date didn't pass through my mind until the other day at the library in SCPJ where I was hanging out with Lai Teik Thien.Mind u we're both otakuns. In other words, v love animes and all things related to it. V could sit and talk for hours about these things.

Guys,if u like my blog please click some ads hahaha.

I downloaded some funny games to play regarding missions and such and he brought up the title, SIM DATES.

I was thinking..what the hell could that be?

I didn't want to seem like a DUNGU (IDIOT) and decided to play along saying things at the right time to conceal my lack of knowledge on what sim dates might be.

I went back and googled sim dates.

Wikipedia calls it : Dating sims (or dating simulations) are a video game subgenre of simulation games, usually Japanese, with romantic elements. ICCCC

Now u see...sim dates are where u play the main charated which is either a girl or a boy and u will go through multiple scenarios with different gender characters to build an image and then try to get them on ur good side. If ur lucky, u'll end up dating one of them and there goes ur ending.Hehe

I even looked for pictures.
So called tokimeki memorial.I can't read jap.So no luck for me.

A female dating sim.No thanks.

To Heart dating sim.Wonder how it works.

I have no idea what it is.I just decided to share it cos it has lots of bishounens.

Hmm if I ever get to create a dating sim game, the story will go like this.

So called main character named CutiePie decided to go to a bowling competition. Cutie Pie meets Cute Boy named CutieTart with his snobbish date named SlutCakes.

SlutCakes challenges CutiePie for a duel with one bowling ball and twelve pins. It's time to rock n roll.Whoever wins gets CutieTart.

I roll and STRIKKKKEEEEEE! I get CutieTart and end of story.

Kinda interesting don't u think?

Now for the characters.

CutiePie will be I don't care...Matsumoto Rangiku from Bleach is my fav character so she WILL be the main person in the dating sim.

CutieTart will be I like Aizen Sousuke from Bleach.Nobody is allowed to say or voice out their disagreement to this decision. So shut it.

SlutCake will be Her voice is perfect for this dating sim.

Well...if u really would like to check out some free dating sims, I suggest this website http://www.flashninjaclan.com/qqq8_dating_and_sim_games.php.I had fun, I'm sure u will too.yep the art was fan made so may be a bit on the not so pretty side. It's a great time passing tool though, enjoy urself readers.

The Final Destination's Finale~

Like all other gore flick chick, I enjoy the Final Destination movie collection immensely. To watch the creative ways that the main leads were sent back to where they belonged in the first place became somewhat of a thrill even though the hair raising experience was going to stay in my mind for quite some time.

For those of you unfamiliar with the latest episode of Final Destination; you can go here http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1622979/

Of course, I expected a great deal of surprise from this movie; not only in the way they kill the cast but mostly because they were introducing a new element into the movie. You see; now instead of them trying to save each other, it was about them trying to kill off each other to get a replacement life for doing so.

The main leads.

However; even though the lasik scene of a "sluttish" girl was every bit satisfying and probably gonna put me off that kinda treatment for the rest of my life, the rest of the movie was really nothing of a surprise because it lacks creativity.

the gymnast.

Well, I wouldn't say it wasn't an entertaining 2 hours but it could have done a little better that that.

What did u expect right...it's been 5 episodes. It could never beat the first 2 episodes. If u still haven't watched it; don't be discouraged...the cast is really good looking and has great acting skills and the movie isn't half bad. For this review, author rates the movie at 3 stars.

The Simpleton's guide to TG Sepat=)

Yesterday Sept 1st, Danny's parents decided to visit the Sepang Gold Coast. For those with no idea where that is; you gotta go here http://www.sepanggoldcoast.com/.

As some of u may know; I've decided to become a couch potato at home during the festive season as KL quickly becomes a dead city once Raya is here and everybody goes back to their hometowns.

I wanted to go back too but honestly; I couldn't face the humidity and frustration of being imprisoned in ur car while it stays immobile in heavy traffic.

However; there was an unexpected plan and v decided to cruise down the highway towards the Sepang Gold Coast.

V started relatively late; at about 11.Yep; hot sun.

As v didn't eat any breakfast; v decided to grab some snacks as both Dan and I sat at the back.

Prawn Crackers from his house...
Muruku Individual packets and a big ass bottle of water. This consists of my breakfast and his.

Then v became the 4 heroes and heroines on our way towards the coastal line to challenge the beach views and sea food.

The heroes and heroines...

Mr Tan. He is a racer in his younger days LOL

Mrs Tan.She has decided that this Ane San sitting way is the best to get more air and avoid hot sun.

Danny Tan. He has an immense love for world peace as you may witness here.

The author who writes this blog.

In about an hour; we reached Sg Pelek. I have no idea where they got the inspiration for that name but who's to complain right? V don't stay here anyway.

The heroes and heroines now needed to replenish some energy so v visited the coffee shop that was famous for its fishball noodles. However; it wasn't open so v opted for chu cheong fun and beverages.

The coffee shop. The food and drinks were nothing much to scream about but considered cheap compared to KL.

The toilet was very clean; much to my surprise to a standard coffee shop. However; some jokers decided to leave a nasty surprise of a male underwear on top of the flush. Wondered what happened to him.

Afterwards v decided to head towards a famous seafood place in Tanjung Sepat for a stroll on the bridge and some local seafood lunch.

I don't really want to share the name of the place as the food wasn't that good and the place was hot and uncomfortable due to the smell. However; it was crowded to the brink with ppl. We had to stand and wait for a long time with this crowd.

They were posing as they waited for their turns to be given some service.

We all decided to come back at a later time when the crowd would be lesser. The next stop; we visited the Ghano Farm for LingZhi. I bought some facial cream and some souvenirs for my parents while Danny's parent bought some sweets and some tea from the place.

They have a homestay in the ghano farm. I have no idea what they serve though.

Man made fountain inside...

and some display of mushrooms.

There was also a woman packaging the mushrooms as v prepared to leave the area.

V have become increasingly impatient due to the heat and hunger so v decided to visit a place famous for chinese buns.

Once we were there; the buns weren't ready so v sat down and chose some fried stuff that included some fried soft shell crab.

Only the beancurd and the fishballs were okay to me. The rest of the heroine and heroes said the pink glutinous rice with salty stuffings were good too. The crab sucks as it wasn't fried long enough and Danny had to keep spitting the shells out for being too hard and impossible to eat.

The buns came out and it almost seemed as if they were gold because ppl were rushing to buy them while the cashier kept shouting "Deng Yi Sia!" all over the buns and spitting a lot into them too. V lost our appetite after that and decided not to have any buns aft all.

btw that meant wait a while in mandarin.

After that; we decided to pay a second visit to the seafood place and little did v know v still had to wait for a place.

I took some pictures of an open air karaoke while v waited for a place.

This was connected to the so called bridge and loads of ppl were waiting there on the benches.

We finally got a seat after a while and ordered 5 dishes which were miserable. They came in small portions and v were pissed. For so little food with not such a good taste it totaled to RM59. It wasn't costly but the food was not up to our expectations after waiting for an hour when our orders were placed.

Hot and bothered; v decided to head towards the Gold Coast for a stroll. On the way back to the car; we walked past some local stores selling products and caught sight of some sea shells.

Pretty cool looking there huh?

Once v were at the gold coast and the sea side resort; we were pretty disappointed as the resort was closed to visitors by 4pm.

V drove towards the seaside and found the place crowded with foreigners throwing rubbish by the shores and naked kids running around. It was a big turn off really.

The seaside.

We decided to drive further towards Bagan Lalang and found the beach there cleaner and better looking than the one next to it.

Pretty View huh?

After a while of watching tourists walking around and playing by the seaside; we left the place and headed back to KL city.

On the way back, we captured the pretty sunset and that pretty much wraps up the trip.

It wasn't a bad trip but v didn't really enjoyed it as much as we should have. Anyways; thanks for reading and hope u liked this post^^

Ppl with no respect to past promises

To some people, I believe...promises are nothing but words. They come out of their mouths because they are just supposed to be some collateral to get something from u. When they want something that u have, they could most probably come up with any sort or colourful promises that may sound like a musical protege's piece but when it comes time to collect; they don't give u what they have said and v hear excuses aka a load of crap.

U know when they start giving excuses to u by detecting the signs. It usually involves a 3rd party that they thought was important enough to break that promise with u.

To these jerks; yeah; jerks; they have no idea that the closer our relationship then the heavier the burden of a promise. To be honest; the person who actually took time to believe in that promise is basically because of love and trust. I'm not just taking about the romance type of believe. It could happen between good friends.

If u were to break that promise on the belief that v would always forgive you because of that relationship...u are really nothing but a jerk.

The great trust involved in believing in ur promise is about the believer taking a chance and a bet. V usually put 99.9% on it because there was reliance. We think of u as someone worthy of our trust. We have confidence that u are the sort of noble person v believe u are. Don't you think that when u break promises that u have said to keep is as low as anyone could go?

It may seem very little to you but it means a great deal to ur relationship. The bridge of trust built over the years through communication and understanding was typically ruined because of that broken promise. U could be a good friend, a boyfriend, a husband or whomsoever that may have a relevance to this issue and the point is, u've just managed to lower down the chance of the person ever putting that much confidence in u again.

Yes, u could always get another friend, another girl or boy or even another partner...but this tendency of breaking promises on the belief that u'll be forgiven or that u could get into another relationship of trust will stick to you like an odour. It won't go away.

Never break ur promises unless u really couldn't help doing so or that the circumstances really did not allow u the luxury of keeping them. The trust broken might seem very little to u but it means a great deal to the rest of us that relied on it.
