I'm sure most of you have been through at least 10 or 20 silly situations in ur life. Silly situations as in U being the object of total silliness/idiocy/subject of a joke/ridicule~
Unlike most ppl,I am subject to loads of these situations. I totally bank in on embarrassing myself. There is no particular reason why this befalls me more than others but yeah,I guess I am terribly jinxed with silly situations.
I also have a trait of uttering totally silly words and statements sometimes.Yeah, they pop out of my mouth like a train when I least expect it. The other night I was thinking of buying some supplements (don't ask me what); and I saw a few brands on display. Thinking I was really smart, I wanted to go for the cheapest brand on the market and tried to rationalize it by saying "Hey isn't this brand like really GOOD. It's on TV all the time~"
Now that wouldn't seem so bad if I were a kid who gets all excited over a brand being advertised a lot on tv but I wasn't so. Now it only made me seem extremely shallow.Darn the idiot box for making me watch adverts!
Sometime like last week, I was talking to a friend on the phone. He asked me for advice regarding the perfect phone to buy for his girlfriend. I was like connecting dots~Girl, present~means bears or flowers! "Get her a bear, plush toys are the best!"
Sorry Keith,I wasn't really paying attention cos I was watching anime while talking to you.
I call it the food in mouth disease...ugh!!!!Previously I was working in the computer fair and was modeling for a certain brand (sorry name excluded) I'd like to call brand A.I was walking past brand B everyday I had to go to work in the event so it sort of stick to my mind. While answering a certain question by an interested visitor, he took my photo and asked, "what brand are u representing?" "brand B!"
Now I won't be surprised if the boss of Brand A ain't hiring me next event.
Having a Blurt out whatever I see syndrome simply proves I need to start thinking properly before I speak. I tend to say out whatever I was thinking and that proves terrible fatal. Imagine a detective drama and I was being questioned. If I happen to be watching a detective series the night before I'll have a defense mechanism working and I'll shout "I didn't do it!" before he even tells me what I did.
Damn the adverts and dramas!
