My misunderstood Hometown=)

As some of you may know through FB or because u know me personally, I am from Seremban. I wouldn't call it a very well developed place. However, it does give the mixed aura of being a half developed city. If there were such things as a third world classification for a town, my town would be that.
There aren't many big shopping complexes or tall ass buildings there but those that are there prove sufficient. Besides, due to the 45 minute ride to KL, most of my town people would travel to work in KL and come back to stay in Seremban. Maybe because the cost of living in my hometown is lower compared to KL.

The first few things that come to a person's mind when u tell them seremban are stereotypically limited to a few options...
1. " Ohhhhh.....I see..."
2. "Ohhh...Seremban Siew Pow!"
3. "Ohh...Seremban Crab"
4. "Ohhh...PD..."
5. "Huh? Where?"
Let's see...talking about food...well aside from the famous listed Seremban Siew Pow which has been commercialized, v locals do love them but v almost always go to the same traditional bakery whenever v want a siew pow or tart. Asia Siew Pow. Its been there for decades. N the taste...Magnificent!
Next v have Yi Poh Lo Shu Fun.Coincidentally, its situated directly opposite Asia Siew Pow. This is a good place to chill out before u head back to ur destination after buying some siew pow.

N yes...when u come too Seremban never miss out Hakka Mee.Especially Tow Kee Hakka mee. This owner has a weird complex as he likes to take time diddling with the noodles which means it takes time. If ur the type that can't wait, u won't like this shop. However, to me, good things come to those who are patient so I'd wait if I were u. Besides, this guy is my mom's childhood friend, so he always gives us good service. If u come to Seremban next time, look us up then^^

One more good place to go...NGAU LAM FEN!!!! Beef noodles to be direct haha. You should never miss this. If u know where the morning market in Seremban is, u'll know where to find it. Second floor of the morning market. Another one of my mom's friend. U see, they're all from the same "Kampung" or village as u may call it.

There are so many good food in Seremban that it would take a few posts just to mention them. I'll make sure I do that the next time I go back...which is tonight^^

PS-pictures courtesy of wonderful fellow bloggers that have been to seremban...thanks y'all!

By the way...PD is not inside seremban...so don't make that mistake.

Adios readers!

Appreciate Life...

Life just passes us by so fast, don't you think, readers?
It was almost as if the past few years of your life passed by with just a few blinks of your eyes. One day you're 12 and now suddenly ur getting older and you don't know what just passed you by.

We should all appreciate life. Too many of our moments that v passed by without actually stopping to enjoy it or treasure it. That second that passed you by will never come back. Why would you want to waste it feeling sad or emotional over things that you couldn't possibly change?

Y not appreciate more of the finer things in life and let those pain and sorrow go?
Because life is just so beautiful to waste it being unhappy. Be happy, dear readers.

We should always keep a mental list of things that v find happy about.

Here is a list of things that I usually notice and keep in mind when I live through everyday.

1. I have a family caring for me, whilst some are born without parents or siblings. They only come once in a lifetime, tell them u love them when u can. As time passed, you might not have the same chance again.
2. I have great friends that helped me pass my time when I'm having my ups and downs. That would be better than not having anyone and be by ur own all the time.
3.I appreciate the fact that when I look at my mother's wrinkles, that she is still there and I could hug and annoy her when I want to, just to see her smile when treat her nice.
4. I appreciate the fact that my boyfriend is taller than me n whenever I want to hug him, I have to stand on tip toes to do it.

5. I appreciate the fact that when it rains, the sun will always shine the brightest after that.
6. I appreciate the fact that when I don't do as well as I should now, I could always have a chance to make the best out of the next try.

7. I appreciate the fact that when I don't have as much as some may want, I have enough to sustain myself through hard times.
8. I appreciate the fact that when i'm not in my ideal weight, it gives me another goal in life to meet. Life would be so meaningless without purpose.

9. I appreciate the fact that when some people may not like n criticize me...I have so many other good friends that understood and helped me through bad times. You live for your own self, never for others.

10. I appreciate the fact that I am me, and that will never lose my sense of direction in life, because nothing is more important to know that as long as you are you, there will always be an ability to surprise yourself with your own strength.

I am sure you, dear readers have lots more things to be appreciative about. Start making a mental list today for ur self and start appreciating life because you never know until it passes u by.

Some situations where you go =.=!!!

There are situations in your life where you just go =.=!!!
You know those times don't you?Like when you said something or was in a situation where you wanted a real answer or some guidance n ur partner takes u "not so seriously"
Yep that kinda situation.
There are no words to describe that kinda situation other than just this =.=!!!

Here are the situations which I have encountered...

1. I asked my friend "Hey, do you like spongebob?"
My friend "You know what?I really hate watching brainless cartoons n stupid talk shows where they don't mean anything."
Me =.=!!!! What does that have to do with liking spongebob?
2. I told my boyfriend, "Hmm I forgot what's the name of the group that 50 cent belonged to.
Usually rappers they will have their own group,"
My boyfriend "Hey maybe its One Dollar, u know cos 50 cent is more famous, the rest of the group will all have 10 cent shares, hahaha"
i'm like =.=!!! Good imagination Dan!
3. I told my mom, "ma I'm coming back on thursday night,"
My mom said "Ya Saturday right?"
"Ma thursday..."
My mom said "Ya ya Saturday.."
Me ... =.=!!! Mom, you don't wanna see me that early right?Just admit it...
4. I told my friend, "Eh ur dress damn cun wei, so how much is it?"
My eager to brag friend replies..."Oh ya lo...I bought from DKNY, u know la all those materials that you buy from those CIPLAK places are "XYZ" so that's why I buy from branded places most the time..."
Me =.=!!! halooo I just asked how much was it...
5. A 5 feet freelancer n I having a conversation 5 years ago..."No lo, I'm just doing this agent a favor only...I usually don't do 200 ringgit jobs one...I only do fashion runway n modeling."
I stared at her... "huh really ah?" SHE IS 5 FEET tall.
Then she fumbled for words and saved herself by saying "Oh I just do those modeling runway that are for shorter models."
Me =.=!!!
6. Some random chick walking past with her boyfriend by the toothpaste aisle where I was walking tgt with my boyfie...
She gave me a look and then turned to her boyfriend declaring loudly, "Cheh, not very pretty also what.."
Me =.=!!!
Hv u encountered any of these situations n would like to share with me?Ur most wlcm to^^
Am so sorry for the broken english and weird slangs. I thought I should insert elements of the Malaysian English to make it a little more realistic for my asian readers^.~
Til the next time my dear readers^^
